What is Colfax Cares?
Colfax Cares is a safe space for us to build community while we meet our neighbors, gather around the arts, and take care of our necessities.
There is safety and stability in our presence and Support of one another. We are working with different community members and initiatives across Colfax and surrounding neighborhoods to strengthen the block, build a more walkable community, support our neighbors, and maintain intersectional support across businesses. We are dedicated to improving access to the arts and being culturally and socially responsive while building with the current network of resources and aid for our neighborhood.
What Do We Do?
Provide free clothing and essentials
Connect community with local health, safety, and education resources
Host live local musicians
Facilitate art workshops
Host local creatives and small business owners
